Thirteen years is a very long time to be loyal with a cell phone carrier. But last week I finally made the leap to At&T from T-Mobile. Lured by the new IPhone4, I was as excited as a little child waking up on Christmas morning when the Fed-Ex carrier knocked on my door and handed me a cardboard box. Apparently my reaction was nothing new to the Fed-Ex guy because he had seen dozens of people before me acting quite silly. One of the reasons we wanted an IPhone was for the video capability. I’m hoping the HD video camera on the phone will make up for the poor service connection I’ve been experiencing with the IPhone.
Today I finally had the chance to try the video camera on the phone. My son Eli and I made a short clip for you (but mainly for me) to enjoy. It’s called the Kiss and Zerbert Attack. This is my first VLOG post.. would love to know what you think! Also, if you have an IPhone4.. do you like the video camera? I used to own a FLIP and I think I liked my FLIP better. Oh well!
PS: Have a wonderful Forth of July!

Ohhh! Alice – this is priceless.. I am so jealous about the iPhone4 too! I’ve got GEN1 and always get this sad, pitiful look when I walk into the Apple store to find accessories for it. They are like: “huh?” My husband Darren has ordered the new one to replace his old one and so I shall vicariously enjoy the HD video capabilities on his phone, though you are not the first to say that FLIP is probably better in that department. Ah well.
Happy Summer and keep Vlogging..

Your video was adorable! And very clear as well.
That is sooo cute! Eli is a doll.
What a cute clip, and what a cute sweet pea you have there Eli is adorable!
As for your previous post, I enjoyed it really. I share your views on this artificial, stressful world, where the naturalness and simplicity of things are probably hard to find. It was nice reading it too, for the exotic depiction. I’ve been there only once, and i just passed by on a tour. I’m noit likely to visit it soon (I live in France)!
Val
Valérie: It was definitely interesting. In all fairness, I did enjoy all the other parts of LA! We used to have an exchange student from France, I hope to go there some day.
What a great video! Eli is soo adorable…he reminds me so much of my son when he was that age. Luca is 7 now, and good for you for taking such videos to treasure because they grow up so fast!!
This makes me want to upgrade my iPhone to the 4. I have close to 4000 pics on my current iPhone ( no video). I would probably take more videos if it was conveniently in my pocket…which Flip do you like?
Thanks for sharing.
